What we do

TellThem.nz is a free service that helps people in Aotearoa New Zealand notify recent sexual partners that they may need an STI test. You can send an anonymous SMS or email using fixed, medically appropriate message templates.

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Who should use this

Anyone diagnosed with a common STI who wants to let sexual contacts from the past 3 months know they should get tested — especially when telling them in person feels difficult.

Privacy

We do not collect the sender's name, phone number, or email. We store IP address, timestamp, and a hashed version of the recipient's contact details for abuse prevention. See our privacy policy.
